The Israeli Scouts aim to strengthen the Israeli-Jewish identity of youth in our community.
Sessions introduce topics such as democracy, social accountability, community involvement, love of Israel, Jewish holidays and more.
The younger grades have activities in different subjects: young leadership, Zionism, democracy, current events in Israel, community involvement and much more.
The Israeli scouts are a volunteer based youth movement, therefore the shachbag receives community hours for their involvement.
The shachbag are also taught to take initiative, become young leaders, be young educators and educate towards a better future.
J.Roots is a supplementary secular Jewish school that provides a wide range of Jewish educational programming for children ages 3-14.
At J.Roots, students explore their Jewish heritage by learning about holidays, traditions, history, literature and developing their Hebrew skills in small group environments. This learning journey is enriched by beautiful hand-outs, interactive games, discussions, creative Judaic expressions, dramatic plays, songs, and educational field trips.

JCC Chai Sports is part of the JCC's of Greater Toronto. We feature introductory sports programs, house leagues, elite development programs and Rep teams in sports like hockey, soccer, basketball, flag football and more.

Kachol Lavan is a unique education centre, serves all diverse community in the GTA area from pregnancy and up. Kachol Lavan strives to bring to the community excellence in Jewish education, while teaching modern Hebrew language and contemporary subjects about the state of Israel. The Mifgash Program was established in 2006 and is sponsored by the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto and Schwartz/Reisman Centre.
Mifgash offers numerous programs for the Israeli and Jewish communities, which aim to preserve the Israeli culture and the Hebrew language.
The Mifgash Program holds a variety of lectures, entertainment and cultural events, and more.

Since 1974, Circle of Care provides a broad range of home health and community support service options to improve well-being, independence and quality of life. In 2009, Shoresh opened it's flagship programming space, the Kavanah Garden, at UJA's Lebovic Jewish Community Campus in Vaughan. Located on Lebovic Campus Drive, west of Ilan Ramon Blvd., the Kavanah Garden seeks to model and inspire Jewish social and environmental responsibility.
80% of the food grown at the Kavanah Garden is donated to community members in need through our tzedakah partner, Ve’Ahavta.
We run a variety of programs at the Kavanah Garden including our weekly Free Family Drop-In Program, our weekly Community Supported Agriculture program, Community Festivals, Volunteer Work Days and more!
